100 wallets were dropped in front of hidden cameras to see Phone Recordings ...Each of the 100 wallets contained $2.10 in real money, a fake $50.00 gift certificate, some miscellaneous items and a clearly written ID card. We were curious as to how honest people would be. 74 of the 100 people filmed returned the wallets and only 26 stole them. Of those who stole the wallets - only 3 people attempted to redeem the fake gift certificates that were inside. The following recordings are of conversations between Paul Kinsella and the 3 people who tried to redeem the fake gift certificates: Phone Recording with "Brian": Phone Recording with "Paul": Phone Recording with "Unknown": This jerk stole one of my wallets too. Like the other two guys he attempted to redeem the $50.00 gift certificate that was inside. Unfortunately I was not home when he called and my wife answered. She asked him to call back, but he never did. Too bad - I'm sure I would have had fun with this one. Part 1 Part 3 Part 2 This jerk stole wallet #93. Instead of returning the wallet he attempted to redeem the $50.00 gift certificate that was inside. This time I had a fake questionnaire prepared. My goal was to try to keep this schmuck on the phone for as long as possible. This guy never did give me his real name - he insisted that his name was "Paul Kinsella". I might have believed him if not for the fact that MY name is Paul Kinsella. If you would like to see what "Paul" looks like, click HERE to watch the video of who picked up wallet #93. As you can tell from the recording - I did everything I could to give him a hard time. Obviously I was lying about the hidden $1,000 dollar bill.
